The Cultural Heritage Association of Nicosia in collaboration with the Municipality of Larnaca has organized this year the 3rd Mediterranean Folklore Dance Festival, to be held between 13 and 15 September 2008, in the beach of Finikoudon in Larnaca. The main objective of the festival is the tightening of relations between the Mediterranean Countries, the acquaintance and acceptance of cultural heritage of each country, the distribution and rescue of folklore dance as well as the aid of tourism from the neighbouring countries. The opening ceremony will be help on Saturday 13 of September at 20:00 at the stage in the Finikoudes beach.

The festival is open to the public and entrance is FREE.
